Over the years, many people have asked me how I learned about various topics, whether it's about the proper role of government or about the principles of liberty and free markets. I decided to make a short list of my favorite books that have had the most impact on me and my political activism. I offer this list to you with no caveats, but with an exhortation to read everyone of them over and over. And then see what happens! Even though no one has asked me about what music I like to listen to when I get discouraged about the overwhelming evil in this country, I thought you might like to know what lifts my spirits or tickles my funny bone.
